Overview Trekking to Everest base camp can be a wonderful adventure to take part in with family, friends or individually. Your trail leads you towards Dingboche (4410m)and Lobuche (4940m), where you can watch the breathtaking towering mountains almost touching the sky. There are some glaciers and passes along different routes taking you to the Everest Base Camp which makes the trekking harder but at the same time more enjoyable. Gorakshep (5164m) is the last stop before you get to the base camp. You trek to the base camp (5364m), return back to Goorakshep, climb the Kalapatthar (5644m) then descend towards Lukla via Pheriche (4371m). Some routes take you to three different passes or the world's highest freshwater lake system. Visiting these sites could add a few more remarkable memories to the memories of the trek. If you wish to, you can also take the same trail back that you took while climbing up. Whatever trail you take, you will encounter some hurdles on your way to the Everest Base Camp.
